Developed a bio process for production of a specialty chemical conventionally generated from hydrocarbon feedstock utilizing a fungal based feedstock. Scaled process from flask to 20L reactor scale optimizing culture composition to increase process yields and developed analytic techniques for culture performance monitoring.
